This is my first attempt of drawing a tattoo design freehand on the skin, using an eye pencil I outlined the design onto the arm. I then used an aqua colour palette and a paint brush and began filling in the design. I quickly noticed that I was not making the aqua colour into a thick enough paste and it dried into various shades of grey. I will use this technique on the face in some further experiments this evening, however I will be very conscious of the consistency of the aqua colour .
