Technical session - Wig application
If the hair is short pin curls can be done on the hair, however as my model has long hair french plaits was the best way to gain a flat surface on the head, as well as getting all the hair up .
I plaited two french plaits down the head then , I pined them on top of the head to secure them in place.
A wig cap then was place on the hair to keep the hair in place .
Then the wig was applied and none of the original hair is present.
I like how wigs can completely change the way a person looks , this would be a good technique to use in the tribal shoot. however, I would like to experiment with natural hair, and maybe add extensions to add extra volume .
